Villa Serra, also known as Villa Domenico Serra, is a historic patrician villa in Cornigliano, a district of Genoa. It stands on the old Via San Giacomo, a road that once ran from the Cornigliano bridge to the church of the same name, lined with many holiday villas built by Genoa’s great families from the 16th to the 20th centuries. The villa takes its name from its first owner, Domenico Serra, to distinguish it from Villa Serra Richini, another historic villa in the same neighbourhood.
