This square-built structure, formed of two adjoining blocks with pitched roofs, is a soberly symmetrical affair. Two circular towers, their bases tapering in a truncated cone, stand at the north-west and south-east corners; these are lower than the main body of the building, which rises over two storeys. The load-bearing walls are of rendered brick, and vertical pilasters divide the facades into neat, balanced halves, both on the shorter and longer sides. A simple, linear cornice crowns the whole. Inside, the building contains three residential units and a storeroom. The overall effect is of a sturdy, functional design, its defensive-looking towers perhaps more for architectural rhythm than any serious martial purpose. It stands as a plain-spoken example of a regional type, a place made for dwelling and storage, its geometry the main source of interest.
