Terme romane dell'Indirizzo

The Terme romane dell'Indirizzo, in Piazza Currò near Catania’s cathedral and Castello Ursino, are among the city’s several Roman bath complexes, alongside the Terme della Rotonda, Achilliane, di Piazza Dante and di Sant’Antonio. Probably dating from the late imperial period, they are often cited as one of the best-preserved Roman baths in Europe. The site offers a rare, tangible glimpse into the scale and sophistication of Roman public bathing in Catania, with substantial remains of vaulted chambers and pools still visible.
