The "Regolini-Galassi tomb" at Caere was discovered in 1836. The well-preserved tomb and its super-elite grave assemblage dates the tomb ca. 680/676-650 BCE. The objects in the assemblage are indicative of the so-called "Orientalizing" phenomenon in Etruria.
