Sena Gallica

Senonian Gauls founded Sena Gallica at the mouth of the Misa River in the fourth century B.C. This place became the site of Rome's earliest colony on the Adriatic seaboard before 280 B.C. Pompeius Magnus destroyed the city in 82 B.C.
