Remains of at least two Roman villas have been identified in the frazione of San Valentino, part of the larger comune of Poggio Mirteto. One is the so-called Villa dei Casoni, while this site is sometimes known as the Bagni di Lucilla. This villa was the findspot in 1801 of a mosaic pavement now in the Chiaramonti museums of the Vatican.
