Rosso

Palazzo Rosso, also known as Palazzo Brignole Sale, is a house museum on Via Garibaldi in Genoa’s historic centre, northwestern Italy. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising Le Strade Nuove and the Palazzi dei Rolli system. Inside, a rich art collection includes works by Antoon van Dyck, Guido Reni, Paolo Veronese, Guercino, Gregorio De Ferrari, Albrecht Dürer, Bernardo Strozzi and Mattia Preti. This collection, along with those of Palazzo Bianco and Palazzo Doria Tursi, forms the Musei di Strada Nuova. The palace’s name derives from the distinctive red colour of its façade, a notable feature of this Genoese landmark.
