Ponte Valentino

Ponte Valentino is a Roman bridge, about four kilometres east-north-east of Benevento, near the boundary with Paduli. It once carried the Via Traiana across the Calore river, just before that river meets the Tammaro. The bridge is now disused, and only a few traces of its ancient fabric remain.
