Nuraghe Orolo

Nuraghe Orolo is an archaeological monument in the Marghine subregion, within the territory of the comune of Bortigali. Standing at 785 metres above sea level, it commands a view over a wide expanse of central Sardinia. This is a trilobate nuraghe, a type of Bronze Age stone structure, and is considered particularly significant for its location, its dimensions and its state of preservation. The site is one of thirty-one included in a submission for UNESCO World Heritage status.
