Nuraghe la Prisciona

The Nuraghe La Prisgiona, a nuragic archaeological site in the Capichera valley near Arzachena, Costa Smeralda in northern Sardinia, comprises a nuraghe and a village of around 90 to 100 buildings spread across five hectares. Many of the findings here are unique in Sardinia, especially regarding decoration and use, making the site considered unique in the north-east of the island. There is also evidence of occupation during Roman and medieval times. The nearby Giants' grave Coddu Vecchiu adds further context to this extensive and distinctive complex.
