Monte Raffe di Mussomeli

This hill, in the modern Sicilian province of Caltanissetta, was the site of a human settlement from the early Iron Age through the medieval period. It became fortified possibly as early as the late archaic period. The Castello di Mussomeli (Castello Manfredonico) was erected on the site in the 14th century CE.
