MAGIONE DI SAN JACOPO AL TEMPIO

This complex retains, almost unchanged, the layout of its original hospital function. To the north of the church, a building extends, connected to it by a later structure. The plan reveals two distinct construction phases: the eastward extension has a battered base on the north corner and a wall texture of incoherent stone blocks in the lower section, with brickwork above. Numerous traces of blocked openings remain. The facade also shows a more regular ashlar facing in the lower part, giving way to mixed brick masonry higher up. The spacious ground-floor room is divided by later, low-rise cross vaults.
