Janiculum

This hill is located outside the ancient city of Rome, to the west of the Tiber River, and is not considered one of the Seven Hills of Rome. From an early stage, the Janiculum was connected to the city by fortifications and a bridge over the Tiber. It was also the site of important water-powered mills in the Roman Empire.
