Insula dei Dipinti

A Hadrianic insula in Ostia Antica between the north wall of the castrum and the Tiber, comprising the houses of Jove and Ganymede, of the Infant Bacchus, and of the Paintings, arranged according to an L-shaped plan. Its façade faced onto two streets, forming a corner, while its inner sides looked out onto a large garden, without porticoes.
