Civita d'Arlena (also known as Civita del Fosso di Arlena) is an archaeological site that occupies a hilltop near Lake Bolsena. It was the site of Etruscan occupation until the third century BCE. Excavations carried out by the École française de Rome (1952 to 1958) revealed parts of a fortification wall and a sacred building, along with evidence for a city plan.
