The Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta is a Renaissance parish church, its rectangular plan divided into four bays before the presbytery. A sacristy clings to the right flank, its bulk clearly legible in the masonry at the rear. The church was thoroughly remodelled and raised in the second half of the 1700s, when its internal painted decorations were executed; what we see now, however, is likely a recent reworking from the 1980s. The cement floor tiles, hexagonal in shape, date from the early 1900s. A hipped roof, clad in traditional terracotta tiles, covers the structure. The main entrance is a stone portal, its lintel carved with a central Greek cross between two rosettes, each set within a circle, a motif repeated on the supporting corbels. Above it, a relieving arch of large pentagonal voussoirs. A rectangular window with a moulded stone frame sits over the door; a secondary, simpler entrance opens on the west façade.
