Amyclanus Sinus

Amyclanus Sinus, the modern Gulf of Gaeta, is an open body of water along the central-western coast of the Italian peninsula. To the north, Cape Circeo bounds the gulf, while to the south it is bounded by the island of Ischia and the Gulf of Naples. It extends westward to the Pontine Islands.
