Amphitheatrum Castrense

The Amphitheatrum Castrense is a Roman amphitheater built in the third century AD. Its structure was later incorporated into the Aurelianic Walls. Adjacent to the amphitheater is the Christian church of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.
