The Church of Agios Andreas in Kechrianika, Lakonia, is a Byzantine church dating from the 13th century. The settlement of Kechrianika is the birthplace of infantry Colonel Konstantinos Davakis, a hero of the Greco-Italian War, and a marble bust of him by the Maniot sculptor Michalis Kassis stands in the village. The church is distinct from the grander, modern Church of Agios Andreas in Patras, which was completed in 1974 and is the city's cathedral. The Kechrianika church is a smaller, medieval structure, and the area also contains a truncated tower, the 'Kolouros' war tower of the Koteoi family.
