Chaïdari Palace, part of the former Tatoi royal estate in Attica, is a historic summer retreat on Mount Parnitha. It was the birthplace of King George II, the last king of Greece, and provided refuge during political turmoil, witnessing the rise and fall of monarchies, World War II, and the transition to a republic. The palace blends neoclassical and modernist architectural styles, with a façade of elegant columns and ornate balconies. Interiors feature frescoes, marble floors, and luxurious furnishings. Restoration is well underway: electromechanical installations, basement and attic work are complete, and ground and first floors are in progress. The New Cowshed will host two thematic museums for royal vehicles and agricultural production. The Mausoleum, across from the Church of the Resurrection, has been fully restored thanks to a donation.
