These perimeter walls once enclosed the boiler house of the Allatini Mills, the industrial complex that helped define modern Thessaloniki. Built in the modern era, the masonry wrapped around the boiler house, material storage areas, and mechanical equipment, forming the technological heart of the mill. The walls recall the neoclassical fortification style that shaped the complex, where utility and grandeur met in the service of industry. Standing before them, you sense the scale of a working mill whose machinery and fuel once powered production for the city.
