The Archaeological Museum of Neapolis Voion occupies a modest building on Dimokratias Street in Neapolis, on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese. Its collections draw from the surrounding region of ancient Boiai, a landscape rich in remains from classical through Roman times. Excavations carried out between 1972 and 2011 uncovered Archaic finds, Roman baths, roads, and tombs, among them three hypocausts revealed in 1972, including a large rectangular hall measuring 9.20 by 6.20 metres. Local pottery, inscriptions, and everyday objects hint at the lives of those who once inhabited this coast.
